I’ve been craving a chocolate cake for a long time. And there it is! Simple, tasty and cheap!
Ingredients
Sponge
- 5 eggs
- 3 tablespoons of raw sugar
- A cup of rice flour
- 10 tablespoons of water
- A pinch of baking powder
- A spoonful of cocoa
Cream and frosting
- 2 pieces of avocado
- 4 tablespoons of coconut oil
- 4 tablespoons of carob
- A spoonful of cocoa
- 4 spoons of honey
- A spoonful of lemon juice
- 4 tablespoons of water
Method of preparation
Sponge
Mix the egg yolks with the sugar and a pinch of salt, then add the water, baking powder, flour and cocoa. Whip the egg whites and incorporate them into the rest of the composition. This should be soft enough to flow when we pour it into the pan lined with baking paper. Place in the oven and test with a toothpick. When it comes out almost clean, our sponge is ready. A 26 cm pan is used.
Cream and frosting
Mix all the ingredients in the blender. We cut the sponge into two or three “slices”, each as desired, syrup, put cream, repeat, then put the rest of the cream on top and decorate as we know how.
Note: This cream can also be used independently, like a chocolate mousse. It’s delicious and healthy, without gelatin or other additives.
