Initially, I wanted to name the dish “pizza with zucchini and ham”, but surely pizza lovers would have revolted at the idea that their favorite food could contain carrot and zucchini, so I called it pie. But know that visually it brings pizza, only it’s not red, but yellow.
Ingredients:
The dough from here
- Pieces of ham
- A large onion
- A small carrot
- A small zucchini
- A teaspoon of curry powder
- One tablespoon of nutritive yeast
- Salt to taste
Method of preparation
Cut the julienne onion, the carrot into small cubes and the zucchini into slightly larger cubes so that they don’t disintegrate. We put the onion and the carrot to be tempered in lard or, according to preference, in coconut butter and after they soften a little, we also put the zucchini. Add a spoonful or two of water, put on a low heat and leave covered for another 5 minutes. Add the curry powder, nutritive yeast and salt, mix well, turn off the heat and leave covered with the lid. We spread the dough as thin as possible in the tray on baking paper, spread the mixture from the pan on top, then put the pieces of ham. Put in the oven at 180 degrees Celsius until it browns on the edges, about 30 minutes. It’s very tasty and nutritious, it can also be taken packed at work, the ingredients adhere well to the dough thanks to the nutritive yeast, we don’t risk waking up with ham and zucchini in our lap.
