My body is getting used to the new diet. I’m not so cranky in the morning anymore, I don’t have any sweet cravings, and the spondylitis is slowly starting to subside. I lost 1.5 kg in a week, which is 3% of my weight. And here is my first AIP recipe published, some delicious meatballs. Enjoy!😊

The pain is decreasing day by day, I changed the anti-inflammatory to a weaker one. The brain fog is starting to dissipate, the energy is close to normal, I can’t wait to warm up to go out in the garden, plant flowers and vegetables😊 . I can’t believe that a few days ago I was barely crawling from bed to couch. The AIP diet does its job well. Today I noticed a strange thing: I was heating a bun for my husband and the smell of it hit me in an unpleasant way, as if my nose had become an additive detector. I mean, seriously, how could I not love the smell of warm bread?
Pictured is a steak with cole slaw with dill and leeks. Simple and filling. Good morning!

A few years ago I first came across the AIP diet. And when I was flying flower power in remission, on a gluten- and dairy-free diet, it seemed terribly restrictive and I said that I can’t do something like that. All at their time. As hungry as I was in the first days of the diet, not even a huge pork steak filled me up😁. Tonight I was able to sleep for 8 hours, because my stomach didn’t sing from hunger anymore. Good morning!😜

There aren’t many carb alternatives in the AIP diet, but pumpkin is one of the tastiest and most versatile. From one pumpkin I made soup, a snack, cookies and I had 2 slices left to enjoy plain, baked in the oven. A small pumpkin pie was my source of carbohydrates for 4 days. Good morning!😊
