ZUCCHINI AND SMOKED HAM (LARDONS) PIE
Previus post
Another example of a pie that’s actually pizza, but we’re not saying it’s pizza, because who’s seen zucchini pizza before? So it’s a pie that we can eat at any meal, breakfast, lunch, dinner, preferably warm, with an elastic and thin top, made of few ingredients, but which combine wonderfully.
We prepare the dough, let it rise, then spread it very thinly directly on the baking paper that we transfer to the tray. Brush generously with the tomato juice, then place the zucchini slices about 1cm thick, side by side, as close as possible. Put half a teaspoon of tomato juice on each slice, then spread the pieces of ham evenly on top, season with pepper and dried basil and put in the oven heated to 180 degrees for about 30 minutes, being careful not to burn the pieces of ham. No, it’s not pizza, it’s pie.
