GUACAMOLE

by Oana

Avocado is an extremely healthy fruit. It contains more potassium than bananas, lots of vitamins, fiber and healthy fats. As a result, it lowers “bad” cholesterol, triglycerides and belly fat. When I’m scratching my head thinking about what to eat in the morning, an avocado quickly gets me out of the mess. Guacamole or avocado paste is prepared super quickly.

    Ingredients:

    • A ripe avocado. I buy it when it’s hard (it’s the only way you can find it at the supermarket) and keep it in the fruit basket for 3-4 days. When it’s soft to the touch, it’s done.
    • The juice of half a lemon
    • A clove of garlic
    • A small tomato (can be without)
    • A teaspoon of olive oil
    • Salt pepper

    Method of preparation

    1

Cut the avocado in half, remove the seed and, with a spoon, remove the skin. Blend all ingredients in a blender for one minute. What could be simpler than that? It goes perfectly in the morning with carrot chips and a green tea.
